Acts 4:29-31 CEV . . .Lord, listen to their threats! We are your servants. So make us brave enough to speak your message. (30) Show your mighty power, as we heal people and work miracles and wonders in the name of your holy Servant Jesus. (31) After they had prayed, the meeting place shook. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and bravely spoke God's message.

Acts 4:29-31 GW . . ."Lord, pay attention to their threats now, and allow us to speak your word boldly. (30) Show your power by healing, performing miracles, and doing amazing things through the power and the name of your holy servant Jesus." (31) When the apostles had finished praying, their meeting place shook. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God boldly.

Acts 4:29-31 GNB . . .And now, Lord, take notice of the threats they have made, and allow us, your servants, to speak your message with all boldness. (30) Reach out your hand to heal, and grant that wonders and miracles may be performed through the name of your holy Servant Jesus." (31) When they finished praying, the place where they were meeting was shaken. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to proclaim God's message with boldness.

Acts 4:29-31 ESV . . .And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness, (30) while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus." (31) And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.

You will note the reference windows often include more than one translation of the Bible. The reason is to strive to gain the best possible understanding of the original Hebrew and Greek.
